HOW WE USE INFORMATION
How we use the information you provide in your registration for our Services and profile. Our customer service personnel have limited access to Personal Information, as you may amend it from time to time. Our employees may access Personal Information only for the purpose of assisting you to edit or delete that information, as well as for assisting you in the use of our Application.
How we use information collected as a result of the Application’s geolocation and monitoring capability.
A “Child Device” is a cell phone or other device on which the Application is installed and on which certain content will be blocked within a particular area (a “Content-Restricted Zone”). Child Device is a term used to identify the device subject to being blocked or monitored, whether it is used by a child, an employee or another person in a Content-Restricted Zone. A “Parent Device” is a device on which the Application is installed and is the device which can monitor and manage the use of a linked Child Device within a Content-Restricted Zone.
The party establishing the Content-Restricted Zone (e.g., parent, school or business) (a “CRZ Controller”) determines what content is restricted within the Content-Restricted Zone. The CRZ Controller would receive no information from or about the Child Device or the Parent Device EXCEPT the times at which each Child Device enters and leaves the Content-Restricted Zone. The CRZ Controller may also be the parent with a Parent Device; but the two functions are independent of one another.
The following information will be provided to Parent Devices through push notifications:
- usage of the Application and location of a Child Device, including when the Child Device is in a Content-Restricted Zone (such information is not shared with any third-party except, in exigent circumstances, law enforcement);
- notifications when the Child Device enters or exits a Content-Restricted Zone;
- requests from the Child Device for access for a specific time to an app that is otherwise subject to content restriction in a Content-Restricted Zone; and
- updates about changes in app settings or permissions made by the CRZ Controller.
We do not save or store any of the above information EXCEPT TO PROVIDE IT TO THE PARENT DEVICE.
